Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday: 01:00 PM - 22:00 PM
Employment Status: Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

A national security guard company T is seeking a dependable Security Officer to provide reliable safety and security coverage at a secured commercial site in Cupertino, CA. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive during afternoon and evening hours and can maintain sharp focus as the facility transitions through end-of-day operations. Candidates who succeed here combine attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and professional conduct across every hour of their shift.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Security Specialist team to protect customers and employees in commercial environments.
- Perform regular foot patrols throughout assigned areas to reinforce a visible security presence and deter potential incidents.
- Identify, evaluate, and respond to unusual activity or hazardous conditions anywhere on-site.
- Document and track security incidents, accidents, and any facility maintenance concerns that arise.
- Promptly respond to calls for assistance from supervisors, client staff, or fellow officers.
- Assist personnel during evacuations, emergencies, and other elevated-risk situations.
- Support crowd management efforts and liaise with public safety agencies as circumstances require.
- Verify employee credentials for individuals seeking entry into restricted or controlled areas.
- Monitor and enforce parking regulations and address vehicle-related issues on the property.
- Interact with customers and employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
- Administer First Aid, CPR, and AED support during medical emergencies, if certified.
- Ensure all exterior access points including doors, gates, and windows are locked and secured.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred.
Licenses & Credentials
- Must hold or acquire a valid California Guard Card (BSIS) within 30 days of hire.
- You are required to drive a company/client vehicle between sites.
