Job Description

Systems Integration and Test Engineer to lead the verification and validation of the advanced Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) solutions. T

Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Software Integration and Test Support – Develop and execute system design, cybersecurity requirements, and implementation plans for GNSS/SBAS hardware and software.
  • \n

  • Planning, system level integration and test procedure/script development, problem identification/isolation, resolution planning/prioritization/tracking, likely some significant analysis of collected data to support requirements verification, etc.
  • \n

  • Cross Disciplinary Coordination – Work closely with software, hardware, RF, electrical, and mission operations teams to resolve integration issues.
  • \n

  • Mentorship & Expertise – Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and serve as a subject matter expert on GNSS/SBAS technologies.
  • \n

  • Stakeholder Interaction – Communicate status, risks, and technical findings to customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • \n

Qualifications / Desired Skills

\n

    \n
  • Expert Level GNSS/PNT or SBAS Domain experience.
  • \n

  • Terrestrial and satellite networking experience
  • \n

  • Experience with Safety of Life Processes
  • \n

  • Requirements verification and Test planning (V&V), test procedure development and execution in front of customer witnesses.
  • \n

  • Travel to Australia and New Zealand sites. 25%
  • \n

  • Cyber security knowledge – Design for security, hardening, etc
  • \n

  • Able to communicate in written and verbal form in a virtual, global team
  • \n

\n

Strong on Documentation such as subsystem network design documents, test plans, maintenance procedures, etc.

\n

    \n
  • Assurance Standards Application – Apply SAE ARP4754A, SAE ARP4761, RTCA DO 178C, DO 278A, and/or DO 254 as appropriate to ensure safety, reliability, and airworthiness.
  • \n

  • Risk & Safety Analysis – Conduct hazard assessments, FMEA, and other safety analyses; mitigate technical and program risks.
  • \n
