Montgomery, AL (On-site)
Compensation: $95,000 to $110,000 plus 15% bonus
New State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility

About the Role
A brand new, state-of-the-art food and beverage manufacturing facility in Montgomery, AL is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a crew of maintenance technicians and help shape how this operation runs from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a crew of maintenance technicians on assigned shift, owning safety, quality, food safety, and environmental compliance
  • Distribute and manage daily work orders, assign a full shift of work at the start of each day, and oversee completion to standard
  • Facilitate shift handover meetings and report out at production tier meetings on maintenance performance and priorities
  • Partner with planners and schedulers to understand work order backlog, priorities, and resource needs
  • Control job execution including quality, duration, cost, and thoroughness across all work performed by your crew
  • Drive proactive and preventive maintenance culture, pushing the operation away from reactive break-fix cycles
  • Lead root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions that stick
  • Ensure accurate work order completion in SAP including failure cause, action taken, and component information
  • Train and develop mechanics through on-the-job coaching, individual development plans, and regular one-on-one feedback
  • Support continuous improvement and OEE initiatives across assigned equipment centers
  • Enforce safe work practices, LOTO, and food safety compliance always

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Engineering or a related technical field preferred; strong candidates with equivalent experience will be considered
  • 5 or more years of maintenance leadership or supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Food, beverage, or CPG industry background is preferred; other manufacturing industries will be considered
  • Strong technical background in hydraulics, pneumatics, drive systems, and industrial electrical troubleshooting
  • SAP or equivalent CMMS experience required
  • Comfortable and credible on the production floor; this is a floor-first role not a desk job
  • Strong communicator with the ability to lead, develop, and hold a crew accountable across a full shift
