Senior Java Developer Spring Boot and GenAI/LLM
Job Description
This is a chance to put large language models into production at federal scale. Our client, a leading defense and technology contractor, is adding LLM and agentic AI capabilities to enterprise Java applications that serve millions of people. We are looking for a senior Java engineer who has already built and supported this kind of integration, not just experimented with it.

What You Will Do
\n
You will design and build Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs following Twelve Factor principles. You will integrate LLM and agentic AI components into them: retrieval augmented generation, vector search, agent orchestration, evaluation and guardrails, and the deployment and monitoring pipelines that keep them healthy. You will architect services for high throughput and low latency on AWS with PostgreSQL, support existing SOAP based integrations where they remain, and write thorough unit tests with JUnit and Mockito. You will join customer design and technical discussions, propose practical improvements to the architecture, and mentor junior and mid level developers.
