Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced contractor with strong expertise in Zoom collaboration technologies, Zoom Room Systems, and Audio-Visual (AV) conferencing environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating and testing Zoom platform updates, room system integrations, and related collaboration technologies before they are deployed to the production environment. This role will help ensure a seamless end-user experience by identifying issues, validating functionality, and providing feedback on software and hardware updates prior to field release.

Key Responsibilities
\n
Zoom Platform Testing & Validation
\n
• Test new releases, updates, patches, and feature enhancements for:
\n
o Zoom Desktop Client
\n
o Zoom Rooms
\n
o Zoom Room Controllers
\n
o Zoom Phone
\n
o Zoom Workspace and related collaboration features
\n
• Validate functionality across supported operating systems and device configurations.
\n
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected after updates.
\n
Zoom Room Systems & AV Equipment Support
\n
• Configure, maintain, and validate Zoom Room environments.
\n
• Test interoperability between Zoom and conference room AV hardware, including:
\n
o Cameras
\n
o Microphones
\n
o Speakers
\n
o Touch controllers
\n
o Room scheduling displays
\n
o Video conferencing appliances
\n
• Validate audio, video, content sharing, and room control functionality.
\n
Release Readiness & Quality Assurance
\n
• Develop and execute structured test plans and test cases.
\n
• Identify, document, and track defects, bugs, and configuration issues.
\n
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and vendor teams to troubleshoot problems.
\n
• Provide go/no-go recommendations for production deployment based on test results.
\n
User Experience Validation
\n
• Simulate real-world meeting scenarios and user workflows.
\n
• Validate meeting scheduling, joining, hosting, breakout rooms, recording, webinars, and phone features.
\n
• Ensure updates do not negatively impact end-user adoption and usability.
\n
Documentation & Reporting
\n
• Document testing procedures, findings, and recommendations.
\n
• Create release validation reports and communicate risks to stakeholders.
\n
• Maintain testing environments and configuration documentation.
\n
• Develop knowledge articles and operational runbooks as needed.
