JLGOV is seeking Full-Stack Developers to support a contract opportunity.Responsible for planning, designing, coding, testing, troubleshooting, integrating, and maintaining applications in a Python/Django environment. Supports security management, performance monitoring, and enhancements.
Contract Duration:
- 2-year base + optional 2-year extension
- Work: Remote with bi-weekly onsite in Brooklyn, NY
About the Role
Support NYC DOE facilities applications development. You'll design, code, test, and maintain Python/Django applications across multiple systems including health/safety, capital projects, water testing, and AHERA management.
Requirements
**Must Have:**
- U.S. Citizen
- 4+ years Python/Django development experience
- Expertise: Django 4.x, PostgreSQL, Redis, React, REST API development
- Pass background check, drug test, and DOE security clearance
- Based in Eastern Time Zone; able to commute to Brooklyn, NY bi-weekly
- Valid government-issued photo ID
Nice to Have:
- .NET/C# experience
- Government or public sector project experience
- Azure/cloud platform knowledge
- SQL Server experience
