Distribution Systems Analyst

Position Summary

The Distribution Systems Analyst provides technical and operational support for distribution center systems and processes. This role is responsible for troubleshooting system-related issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, conducting testing activities, and training team members on system functionality. The Distribution Systems Analyst works closely with operations, IT, and SAP teams to ensure efficient system performance and support business objectives within the distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Support

Provide daily support for distribution center systems and operational processes.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related issues in a timely manner.
Serve as a key resource for system functionality and process-related questions.
Collaborate with IT and SAP teams to identify and implement system enhancements.

Training & Documentation

Train employees on system functionality, updates, and best practices.
Develop, maintain, and update training materials, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
Support onboarding and ongoing training initiatives related to distribution systems.

Testing & Implementation

Participate in system unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing activities.
Support the implementation of new system functionality, upgrades, and distribution-related projects.
Document testing results and assist with issue resolution prior to deployment.

Data Analysis & Process Improvement

Utilize data analysis tools and SAP reporting to evaluate operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Analyze system and operational data to support business decisions.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
Support process optimization efforts across distribution and warehouse operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Distribution Center leadership, operations teams, IT, and SAP support teams.
Assist in identifying system requirements and recommending solutions that support business needs.
Communicate system changes, project updates, and process improvements to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Advanced SAP experience.
Experience working in a Distribution Center, Warehouse, Manufacturing, or Logistics environment.
Strong technology aptitude with the ability to learn and support multiple systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and training abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
Experience supporting system implementations and process improvement projects.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
