What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help support authorized access, assist with directions, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Complete routine reports and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in a clear and timely manner consistent with Allied Universal and location expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Be able to work in and around the hospital morgue.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
