Job Description Network Engineer
Location: Hauppauge, NY – Onsite
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Acture Solutions is looking for an experienced and service-minded Network Engineer to join our Onsite Services team. What You’ll Do
- Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, switching, routing, firewall, and wireless infrastructure.
- Administer and optimize enterprise Wi-Fi environments.
- Deploy and manage physical and virtual servers using VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Proxmox, or similar platforms.
- Administer Windows Server and Active Directory, including GPOs, OUs, users, groups, and domain policies.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid AD synchronization, SSO, conditional access, and MFA.
- Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and licensing.
- Manage DNS, DHCP, certificate services, patch management, and endpoint configurations.
- Support MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or Google Admin.
- Implement and monitor backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Maintain network and systems security, including VLANs, VPNs, access controls, MFA, and content filtering.
- Provide Level 3 escalation support for complex technical issues.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, system configurations, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of desktop/technical support experience.
- 3–5 years of networking and systems administration experience.
- CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and enterprise networking equipment.
- Experience managing virtualized environments such as VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent.
- Experience with LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Cisco CCNA and/or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
- Ability to work onsite and travel occasionally, up to approximately 25%.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform hands-on infrastructure work as required, including installation and maintenance of network and server equipment.
- Ability to work onsite in technical environments and travel occasionally to other locations as business needs require.
