One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to join their team in **Elk Grove, IL **location
**Pay Rate: **$22/hr - $26/hr
**Shift: **2nd shift
Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems under the guidance of senior maintenance personnel

Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment issues and prevent unexpected downtime

Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and production line changeovers

Diagnose basic equipment malfunctions and perform timely repairs

Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation

Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs using CMMS or maintenance logs.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED is required
-
1–2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine equipment repairs
-
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and industrial maintenance practices
-
Ability to read basic technical drawings and equipment manuals
