Job Description
We're hiring a Remote Data Scientist for a fast-growing, well-funded fintech company. This is a hands-on, non-client-facing seat on a small data team - you'll apply Python, SQL, and applied statistics/ML to real product and risk questions, working closely with engineers and analysts, and presenting those findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Solid Python and SQL experience</li>
<li>Foundational statistics (hypothesis testing, regression analysis, experimental design)</li>
<li>Applied ML exposure (e.g. scikit-learn)</li>
</ul>
Pluses:
<ul>
<li>Experience working in a start-up or on a fast paced team</li>
<li>Statistical Risk modelling experience</li>
</ul>
Location: Remote - this client is based in NYC and would love to find a candidate in the NY area who can come in now and then, but they're open to anyone located in the US.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Salary: 150K- 200K DOE!
