We are recruiting a groundskeeper for our client, a government entity, located in Corpus Christi, TX. As a groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining federally owned grounds. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is dependable.
The typical schedule for this position is Monday – Friday from 7 AM – 4PM, and the pay is $17/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Mow lawns, trim hedges and bushes, edge sidewalks, and plant flowers and shrubs.
- Regularly empty trash receptacles, pick up litter, and properly dispose of waste.
- Prune, water, and fertilize tress.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems.
- Inspect and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Other responsibilities as directed.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a groundskeeper or similar role required.
- Experience operating a zero-turn lawnmower required.
