\n Key Responsibilities of the Property Accountant\n

  • Review lease agreements and property contracts to track recurring expenses, remittances, ownership information, and lease obligations as the Property Accountant

  • Communicate directly with landlords regarding payments, account activity, supporting documentation, and lease-related inquiries as the Property Accountant
  • \n

  • Reconcile payments and maintain accurate general ledger activity across a portfolio of 300–400 locations as the Property Accountant
  • \n

  • Process accounts receivable and expense transactions to ensure accurate profit and loss reporting as the Property Accountant
  • \n

  • Prepare journal entries, perform account analysis, reconcile balances, and support financial reporting activities as the Property Accountant
  • \n

\n Qualifications for the Property Accountant\n

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • \n

  • 1+ year of accounting experience, internship experience, or relevant accounting exposure preferred
  • \n

  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
