Full Stack Developer
Contract 6+ Months | Hybrid (1-day on site)

A forward-thinking company in Belton, TX is looking for a Full Stack Developer to play a key role in modernizing its software environment. In this long-term contract position, you'll work on redesigning and enhancing custom applications, helping move legacy systems to modern platforms and architectures. While front-end development will be a primary focus, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to back-end development and system optimization. Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and enhance full stack applications using React and .NET Core.
• Develop and maintain backend services and microservices that support secure, scalable, and high performing systems.
• Create responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Work within Scrum-based development cycles to plan, deliver, and refine features in iterative releases.
• Use Cursor to develop, test, debug, and optimize application components.
• Manage source code through GitHub, including branch strategy, code integration, and version control best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Apply current software engineering standards and development best practices to improve maintainability and performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ year's of professional experience developing applications with .NET and React.
• Hands-on background building backend services, including web applications and microservices.
• Familiarity with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and either React or Angular.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft development environments.
• Experience contributing to Agile or Scrum-based software development teams.
• Practical knowledge of GitHub version control and branch management workflows.
• Understanding of modern coding standards, testing practices, and software development principles.
