What You'll Be Doing
This is a true multi-craft maintenance role focused primarily on troubleshooting and repair.
- Troubleshoot and repair automated production equipment
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures
- Work with industrial robots and automated manufacturing systems
- Troubleshoot and make adjustments to PLC-controlled equipment
- Repair and replace bearings, seals, gearboxes, motors, and machine components
- Perform hydraulic and pneumatic repairs
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Support preventive maintenance activities and reliability improvements
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs when needed
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
What We're Looking For
- Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Maintenance Electrician, or Electro-Mechanical Technician experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills up to 480V
- Experience with AC/DC motors and industrial controls
- Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Mechanical troubleshooting experience with automated machinery
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn
Bonus Skills
- PLC troubleshooting and editing experience
- Robotics experience
- Manufacturing automation experience
- Experience supporting high-volume production equipment
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Valparaiso, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $74880.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
