Primary Duties & Responsibilities
• Access Control: Manage and monitor entry and exit points to ensure authorized access.
• Greeting & Acknowledging: Greet and acknowledge all individuals entering and exiting the building, and courteously open doors for them.
• CCTV Monitoring: Observe surveillance systems to maintain security and identify potential issues.
• Walking Patrols: Conduct routine on-foot patrols to ensure safety and address concerns. Evey 30 minutes
• Console Operation: Utilize computer systems for security operations and reporting.
• Visitor & Contractor Assistance: Greet and assist visitors and contractors in a professional manner.
• Call Management: Handle incoming calls promptly and efficiently.
• Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations.
• Incident Reporting: Accurately document and report incidents to support resolution and recordkeeping.
• Property Awareness: Monitor and address unauthorized camping or loitering on the property.
• Central Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for security-related inquiries.
Job Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in security or a related field.
• Standing Post: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift, while on duty.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain positive working relationships.
• Professional Appearance: Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times.
• Open Availability: Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using computer systems for reporting and security operations.
• Customer Service Mindset: Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and service excellence.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to remain calm, think critically, and act decisively under pressure.
