Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our enterprise technology team in Uptown Charlotte. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across both backend and frontend development, with an approximately 50% backend / 50% frontend focus. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular 16+, and SQL Server, along with experience developing scalable enterprise applications and working within Agile and DevSecOps environments. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong technical ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with development, QA, product, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and support scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
- Develop responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular 16+.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
- Apply object-oriented design principles and industry-standard design patterns to develop maintainable and scalable solutions.
- Work with SQL Server to develop queries, stored procedures, data models, and optimize database performance.
- Develop and maintain integrations using XML, JSON, REST APIs, JDBC, and JPA.
- Write comprehensive unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot complex application, performance, and production issues and provide effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with QA teams to support functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Create and maintain technical documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, product owners, business stakeholders, and operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.

- 6+ years of hands-on Angular development experience, with strong experience in Angular 16 or higher.
- Strong experience developing responsive and scalable web applications.
- 3+ years of SQL Server development experience, including:
- Complex SQL queries
- Query optimization
- Stored procedures
- Data modeling
- Proven experience developing and supporting microservices-based applications.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns.
- Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, product, and operations teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise or financial-services environments.
- Prior experience supporting highly regulated or security-sensitive applications.
- Experience with modern CI/CD and cloud-native development practices.
- Experience with containerization and platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with automated testing and quality engineering practices.
- Experience working with high-volume, highly available enterprise applications.
