Position: Property Manager
Salary: $82,500 - $122,800 /annually
Location: Tracy, CA

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential community. This position is responsible for maintaining property performance, fostering positive tenant relationships, ensuring lease compliance, coordinating property maintenance, and driving occupancy goals.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property to ensure efficient and effective management
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain curb appeal, cleanliness, and overall property standards
  • Perform move-in and move-out inspections and ensure units are prepared for occupancy
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents while addressing concerns and resolving issues professionally
  • Manage rent collections and follow established procedures for delinquent accounts
  • Enforce lease agreements, community policies, and issue violation notices when necessary
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction
  • Work closely with maintenance staff and vendors to maintain property conditions and address repair needs
  • Monitor occupancy levels and implement strategies to maintain a minimum 97% occupancy rate
  • Assist with resident retention efforts and lease renewals
  • Maintain accurate tenant files, lease documentation, and property records
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal laws
  • Prepare reports and communicate property performance metrics to leadership

Qualifications

  • Previous property management experience required
  • Strong knowledge of residential property operations, leasing, and tenant relations
  • Experience with rent collections, lease enforcement, and occupancy management
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
