Job Description:
We are seeking a senior, hands‑on infrastructure specialist to help stand up and operationalize Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Power Platform as an enterprise‑grade agentic AI platform.
- Microsoft Power Platform administration (deep, hands‑on)
- Designing and enforcing Power Platform DLP policies
- Managing multiple Power Platform environments in regulated or enterprise settings
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, security groups, and access models
- Experience working across Security, Privacy, Legal, and Platform teams
- Ability to operate independently with minimal hand‑holding
Job Responsibilities:
1. Power Platform Environment Architecture
You will design, provision, and enforce a multi‑environment Power Platform strategy to support enterprise Copilot Studio usage:
- Sandbox / experimentation environments
- Shared development environments
- Test / validation environments
- Production environments (Managed Environments only)
- Environment isolation and routing
- Entra ID security group–based access enforcement
- Clear separation between build, test, and publish
- Preventing ad‑hoc or personal environments from being used for enterprise agents
2. Data Loss Prevention (DLP) & Connector Control
You will own Power Platform DLP configuration and enforcement, in coordination with Security and AI Governance:
- Classify connectors as Business / Non‑Business / Blocked
- Define environment‑specific DLP policies
- Prevent common data exfiltration paths (HTTP, consumer storage, personal email, etc.)
- Establish a repeatable connector approval process
- Support audit and compliance reviews
3. Copilot Studio Enablement & Capacity Management
You will be responsible for the infrastructure layers that make Copilot Studio usable at scale, including:
- Provisioning Copilot Studio–enabled environments
- Installing and configuring the Copilot Studio Kit
- Assigning and managing message capacity (PAYG vs message packs)
- Defining security roles for agent authors vs agent consumers
- Ensuring Copilot Studio licensing and capacity are correctly scoped per environment
4. Agent Lifecycle & ALM Foundations
You will help establish the operational lifecycle for agents, including:
- Promotion paths between environments
- Approval gates for publishing and re‑publishing agents
- Documentation and ownership expectations
- Decommissioning and retirement procedures
- Basic rollback and break‑glass patterns
5. Cost Visibility & Operational Hygiene
You will partner with platform and cloud teams to:
- Prevent uncontrolled Copilot Studio / Power Automate cost growth
- Ensure billing models are correctly applied at the environment level
- Support usage attribution analysis where possible
- Surface operational issues before leadership sees surprises
6. Enterprise Integrations & MCP Readiness (as needed)
Where agents require enterprise actions:
- Support MCP‑based or custom connectors
- Ensure connector design aligns with DLP and security posture
- Prevent Copilot Studio from becoming a shadow integration layer
