Maintenance Technicians – Multiple Openings


Full-Time | 2nd & 3rd Shift | Manufacturing


Position Summary


We are seeking multiple Maintenance Technicians to join a manufacturing team. These are hands-on positions responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, mechanical repair, welding, and fabrication.


We are willing to train mechanically inclined candidates who have experience in automotive repair, mechanical work, welding, fabrication, construction, skilled trades, or similar hands-on roles. Candidates with technical or trade-school training who want to begin a career in manufacturing maintenance are also encouraged to apply.


Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and production machinery.
  • Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment repair.
  • Read and follow work orders, instructions, prints, and technical information.
  • Determine tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete repairs.
  • Assist with equipment installation, modifications, and improvements.
  • Help minimize production downtime by identifying and addressing equipment issues.
  • Work with maintenance personnel, production employees, and outside contractors as needed.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
  • Keep the maintenance area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow all safety procedures and required PPE requirements.
  • Operate a forklift when trained and authorized.
  • Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow written instructions.

Preferred:

  • Industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience.
  • Welding or fabrication experience.
  • Mechanical, automotive, construction, or skilled-trade experience.
  • Technical or vocational training.
  • Forklift experience.


Training is available for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to develop their maintenance skills.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds and move heavier items with assistance.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work around machinery.
  • Ability to work in tight areas.
  • Ability to wear required PPE.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.


Work Environment

Manufacturing environment with production machinery, equipment, welding operations, noise, materials, and chemicals. Strong attention to safety is required.
