A global financial services and investment management organization is seeking a hands-on Desktop Engineering and Security Lead to take ownership of key areas of its enterprise end-user computing environment.

This individual will help engineer, automate, secure, and improve the technologies used to manage Windows endpoints across a geographically distributed workforce. The position combines desktop engineering, endpoint management, virtual desktop technology, automation, and endpoint security. This is an engineering-focused opportunity rather than a traditional desktop support position.

Responsibilities:

- Engineer and maintain enterprise Windows endpoint technologies and standards.
- Manage device configuration, imaging, software deployment, and patch management.
- Develop and maintain Windows Group Policy configurations.
- Engineer and support Citrix virtual desktop and application-delivery environments.
- Build and maintain endpoint-security configurations and hardening standards.
- Develop PowerShell automation to improve reliability and reduce manual administration.
- Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues across desktop, infrastructure, application, and security dependencies.
- Support desktop migrations, deployments, integration testing, and production changes.

Role Requirements:

- 5+ years of relevant enterprise technology experience.
- Professional experience within financial services.
- Strong hands-on desktop, endpoint, or EUC engineering experience.
- Strong Microsoft Intune experience.
- Strong SCCM experience, including imaging and patch management.
- Experience engineering and troubleshooting Group Policy.
- Citrix VDI and XenApp experience.
- Experience with endpoint-security policies and technologies.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
- Microsoft 365 experience.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor's degree.
