Position Overview
We're searching for a Maintenance Technician to add to our team in Green Bay, WI! The Maintenance Technician will play an important role in our manufacturing process by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring minimal downtime across our manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Inspect machinery and identify potential issues before they escalate
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Assist with installation, setup, and relocation of machinery and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (plastics experience a plus)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial controls
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
