Our client, a leader in the power generation and aerospace industries, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Allentown, PA
Pay Range: Up to $37/hour
Shift: 2nd- 2-10pm & 3rd- 10pm-6am
What's the Job?
- Perform predictive, preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on production equipment.
- Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC machines.
- Repair, assemble, and install electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Calibrate process control equipment and instrumentation.
- Rebuild, install, and make field repairs on centrifugal and diaphragm pumps.
What's Needed?
- Associate degree or Trade School certification in a technical field with a minimum of 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of maintenance experience.
- Ability to work off shift (2nd or 3rd shift) and willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
- Ability to qualify for and utilize specialized personal protective equipment, including arc flash and fall protection gear.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLC, CNC, and industrial control systems is preferred.
