Job DescriptionMaintenance TechnicianPosition Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the performance, reliability, and upkeep of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This position plays a key role in maintaining production efficiency by diagnosing equipment issues, performing repairs, executing preventative maintenance programs, and supporting equipment improvements. Successful candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting experience, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures to maximize production uptime.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing machinery and facility support systems.
- Execute preventative and predictive maintenance activities according to established schedules.
- Install, modify, and commission equipment, tooling, and process-related systems as needed.
- Identify replacement parts and maintenance materials required to support daily operations and maintain spare parts inventory.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and repair documentation.
- Partner with production personnel and other departments to address equipment concerns and improve operational performance.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality requirements while completing maintenance activities.
- Support general facility maintenance and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial maintenance experience; 2+ years preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, power transmission components, and production machinery.
- Experience maintaining and repairing hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability practices.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail in documentation.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting maintenance operations within a manufacturing, industrial, or processing environment.
- Exposure to a wide range of production equipment and automated systems.
- Ability to assist with equipment installations, retrofits, and process improvements.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience collaborating with production teams to achieve operational goals.

Work Environment
This position is based within a manufacturing and metal processing facility that supports aerospace, defense, and space-related customers. Technicians work around production machinery, automated processing equipment, and chemical treatment systems used in surface finishing operations. The environment can be physically demanding and may involve elevated temperatures, extended periods of standing, lifting materials, and the use of personal protective equipment. Strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental procedures is required at all times.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
