HTI is recruiting a Maintenance Planner – Outage Coordinator for a global manufacturing company opening a state-of-the-art operation in Augusta, GA. WHAT YOU NEED

\n

    \n
  • At least 4–5 years of maintenance planning, outage coordination, or related industrial experience
  • \n

  • Experience planning major equipment shutdowns or turnarounds
  • \n

  • Knowledge of critical-path planning and Gantt chart development
  • \n

  • Experience developing contractor scopes, managing costs, and coordinating contractor activities
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices and workflows
  • \n

  • Experience using SAP or another CMMS
  • \n

  • Experience with Microsoft Project or comparable planning software
  • \n

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • \n

  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • \n

  • Willingness to work onsite in an industrial environment and wear required PPE
  • \n

WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL LOOK LIKE

\n

    \n
  • Develop scopes, budgets, timelines, and detailed work plans for major equipment outages
  • \n

  • Coordinate outage-planning meetings across maintenance, operations, and other stakeholders
  • \n

  • Create contractor scopes of work and support contractor coordination and cost management
  • \n

  • Identify the labor, materials, tools, and parts required for planned work
  • \n

  • Work with warehouse personnel to organize and kit outage materials
  • \n

  • Maintain a library of shutdown, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance job plans
  • \n

  • Ensure work orders are complete and accurate within SAP
  • \n

  • Facilitate post-outage reviews and identify opportunities for improvement
  • \n

  • Support daily and weekly maintenance planning when needed
  • \n

  • Promote consistent maintenance workflows and planning standards throughout the facility
  • \n
