Systems Engineer
Location: Warner Robins, GA

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support large-scale IT and Air Force weapon system environments in Warner Robins, Georgia.
This position is focused on systems engineering, system design, architecture, documentation, and integration. The successful candidate will be able to understand complex technical environments, translate requirements into effective system solutions, and communicate technical information clearly to customers, program personnel, and technical teams.
The role provides an opportunity to support Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) solutions while contributing to system architecture, cloud adoption, system integration, and the evolution of mission capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering activities supporting large-scale IT and weapon systems.
- Design and develop system solutions based on customer and mission requirements.
- Apply systems engineering principles to complex system design and integration.
- Support system architecture and system design activities.
- Translate real-world customer and mission needs into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain system documentation and technical artifacts.
- Document systems using tools such as Microsoft Visio or Cameo.
- Apply Agile methodologies within systems engineering activities.
- Support system integration across complex technical environments.
- Collaborate with customers, engineers, program personnel, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support cloud adoption and integration of modern technology solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution and sustainment of Air Force ISR capabilities.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership within systems engineering activities.
- Support the development of resilient weapon-system capabilities for future mission requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience supporting large-scale IT or weapon systems.
- Experience with system design.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Ability to document systems using tools such as Visio or Cameo.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS).
- Knowledge of supporting large data centers.
- Knowledge of weapon system acquisition.
- Cloud computing certification.
- Experience with system architecture and integration.
- Experience working with cloud-based capabilities.
- Experience communicating technical information to program and customer stakeholders.
Work Environment
The position is based in Warner Robins, Georgia. Specific onsite requirements may vary by assigned team and mission requirements. Work involving classified systems and networks may require onsite support.
