I’m currently working with a leading technology and engineering organization that is looking to add an AV Design Engineer 3 to their team in McLean, VA.
\n
\n
This is a great opportunity for an experienced AV design professional looking to work on complex, high-profile technology environments while taking ownership of projects from design through delivery.
\n
\n
The role:
\n
• Develop detailed AV system designs and engineering documentation
\n
• Produce drawings, schematics, equipment layouts and technical specifications
\n
• Work across AV, video, audio, control and integrated technology systems
\n
• Coordinate designs with engineering, construction and project teams
\n
• Review technical requirements and develop solutions around client needs
\n
• Support projects through installation, commissioning and closeout
\n
• Troubleshoot design and technical issues throughout the project lifecycle
\n
\n
What they’re looking for:
\n
• Strong commercial AV design experience
\n
• Experience producing AV drawings, schematics and technical documentation
\n
• Knowledge of AV systems, signal flow, control and integrated technologies
\n
• Experience with design software/CAD and AV engineering tools
\n
• Ability to work closely with project managers, engineers, installers and clients
\n
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
\n
• Ability to obtain/maintain a US security clearance is preferred/required depending on project assignment
\n
\n
