Facilities Maintenance Technician
Denver, CO | Monday–Friday | $23-27/hr
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
- First couple of weeks: approximately 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Occassional Overtime and weekend opportunities
Keep a Busy Campus Running Smoothly!
We’re looking for a hands-on, dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep an 83-acre campus, academic buildings, and athletic facilities safe, functional, and ready for daily activities and events.
If you’re the person who can fix the little things, spot problems before they become bigger ones, and jump in wherever needed, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine and preventative building maintenance
- Handle minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
- Troubleshoot facility issues and communicate larger repair needs
- Set up and break down tables, chairs, staging, and event equipment
- Move furniture and assist with furniture installation across campus
- Work with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed
- Assist with snow removal and operate a snowplow when needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and keep facilities safe and operational
- Support evening/weekend events and special campus activities as needed
What We’re Looking For
- General building/facilities maintenance experience
- Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs
- Well-rounded knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to get hands-on
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good driving record and valid Colorado driver's license
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Comfortable operating various equipment; snowplow experience is a plus
