General Labor Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the maintenance and repair of various systems and equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
- Help troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions using schematics and technical manuals.
- Support fabrication tasks as needed, including welding and residential painting projects.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
- Supervise junior staff or apprentices during maintenance activities, providing guidance and leadership.
- Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
