Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Joliet Living and Rehab Center LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team! As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facility, including lawns, landscaping, and equipment. If you have a passion for maintaining a safe and clean environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the maintenance of lawns, landscaping, including grass and snow as assigned
• Assist with preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis in accordance with written procedures and/or manufacturers' recommendations
• Maintain work order records, material cost, and materials
• Mechanically repair, release, and/or install minor equipment, hardware, and controls
• Assist in promoting facility safety and a safe working environment
• Oversee housekeeping/EVS department
• Order necessary EVS materials
• Create and manage schedules for EVS employees
• Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Director and/or Administrator

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a long-term care environment
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
