Job Description:
Seeking an experienced QA Analyst to support manual and automated testing efforts across web, desktop, and mobile applications while helping scale a growing QA function.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated testing for web, desktop, and mobile applications
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups and sprint activities
- Review Jira stories and requirements to create test plans, test cases, and use cases
- Execute testing for new features, enhancements, and defect fixes
- Determine appropriate manual versus automated testing approaches
- Validate application functionality, business logic, and underlying data
- Debug issues using available testing and development tools
- Document and communicate defects with clear reproduction steps
- Support CI/CD initiatives and more frequent release cycles
- Manage a dynamic testing workload across multiple projects
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years of Quality Assurance experience
- Strong experience with both manual and automated testing
- Hands-on experience building automation frameworks and scripts from scratch in Python
- Experience testing applications built with Python and JavaScript
- Experience validating data within PostgreSQL environments
- Ability to create test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and defect documentation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and BrowserStack
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Experience validating end-to-end workflows and business logic
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional JavaScript development/testing experience
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience supporting rapidly evolving CI/CD environments
