\nWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Technician to support our growing additive manufacturing operation producing production-scale metal and polymer components for demanding industrial applications. \n
\n
\nThis role is responsible for leading inspection, metrology, calibration, testing, and quality documentation activities to ensure products consistently meet customer and internal requirements. Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations, the Senior Quality Technician will help maintain measurement system integrity, support new product introductions, investigate quality issues, and drive continuous improvement efforts. \n

A Day In The Life\n
\n
\nPerform and lead dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished components. \n
\n
\nVerify product conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T requirements, and customer standards. \n
\n
\nDevelop, validate, and maintain inspection programs, measurement methods, and quality records. \n
\n
\nSupport First Article Inspections (FAIs), process validations, and production release activities. \n
\n
\nAnalyze inspection data using SPC, Gage R&R, and other statistical tools to identify trends and improvement opportunities. \n
\n
\nSupport nonconformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action activities. \n
\n
\nManage calibration activities and ensure inspection equipment remains compliant and accurate. \n
\n
\nCollaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to develop inspection plans, fixturing, go/no-go gauges, and quality control strategies. \n
\n
\nSupport incoming material inspection, mechanical testing, and material characterization. \n
\n
\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to inspectors and junior quality technicians. \n
\n
\nPromote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. \n
\n
What will help you thrive in this role?\n
\n
\n5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Metrology, Inspection, or a related manufacturing quality role. \n
\n
\nExperience in a precision manufacturing environment; additive manufacturing experience strongly preferred. \n
\n
\nStrong understanding of dimensional inspection methods and tools. \n
\n
\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. \n
\n
\nExperience using metrology and inspection equipment, including advanced measurement technologies such as: \n
\n
\nKeyence IM or similar optical comparators \n
\n
\nKeyence VR or similar laser profilometers \n
\n
\nZeiss Atos or similar 3D scanners \n
\n
\nParticle size distribution (PSD) Analyzers \n
\n
\nCarbon and Oxygen analyzers such as LECO \n
\n
\nTensile testing systems \n
\n
\nMetallographic sample preparation and analysis \n
\n
\nExperience collecting, documenting, and analyzing quality data, including statistical process control (SPC) methodologies. \n
\n
\nFamiliarity with FAI processes, process validation, and quality documentation. \n
\n
\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. \n
\n
\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. \n
