Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, with rotating on-call responsibilities
Pay Range: $20.00-$24.00 Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team in Roseville, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the property's buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents. This position requires experience in general maintenance, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform apartment turns, including inspections, repairs, painting, and cleaning preparation.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry issues.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on building systems and community amenities.
- Maintain property grounds, common areas, and facilities.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Assist with inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Work closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to identify and resolve property concerns.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, appliances, and general repairs.
- HVAC certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
