Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Systems Administrator to support daily IT operations and maintain a reliable technology environment in Newnan, Georgia. This role is responsible for keeping user systems, core infrastructure, and collaboration platforms running smoothly while delivering responsive technical support across the site. The position also works closely with business and global IT teams to strengthen security, improve system performance, and support technology initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the local Microsoft 365 environment, including user profiles, mailbox administration, licensing, Teams support, and account recovery activities in alignment with enterprise IT practices.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user technology such as laptops, desktop systems, printers, scanners, mobile equipment, and production-floor handheld devices.
• Administer the full lifecycle of IT assets by tracking inventory, assigning equipment, managing warranty status, coordinating refresh plans, and ensuring proper retirement of obsolete devices.
• Deliver hands-on technical support by identifying and resolving issues involving hardware, operating systems, business applications, connectivity, network access, and user permissions.
• Contribute to infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business system projects at both the local site and broader organizational level, including implementation and rollout activities.
• Support site network operations by maintaining firewalls, VPN connectivity, wireless services, switches, internet access, and related infrastructure components.
• Monitor the health and performance of systems and networks to reduce downtime, address emerging issues early, and maintain dependable service availability.
• Partner with departments such as Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, and Quality to improve system usability, strengthen reporting access, and increase efficiency through technology solutions.
• Help enforce cybersecurity controls by managing privileged access, multi-factor authentication, service accounts, shared resources, vendor connectivity, and critical business systems, while also responding to security events through containment, documentation, coordination, and corrective action.
• Maintain IT procedures, technical documentation, and disaster recovery materials while coordinating with vendors and global IT teams to support standards, procurement, and site technology needs.• At least 3 years of experience in systems administration, desktop support, or infrastructure support roles.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, and Windows 10 environments.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including user account management, licensing, and collaboration tools.
• Experience supporting end-user hardware and peripherals, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Familiarity with network technologies such as VPNs, firewalls, wireless networking, and switch-based infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across hardware, software, access management, and connectivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Dell technologies and Citrix-based environments is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and global IT partners.
