Job Description Summary of Position:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our testing strategy and quality efforts across complex, high impact projects. The Senior QA must have minimum 5 years' experience as a QA and have spent time collaborating with Dev, Business Analyst, Infrastructure, and Design teams to ensure quality is thoughtfully examined in both processes and technology. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of business workflows, exceptional analytical skills, and deep hands on experience in both functional and non functional testing.
Job Duties:
- Lead the overall test strategy, planning, and execution for assigned projects.
- Review and analyze business requirements and workflows to ensure complete test coverage.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
- Perform functional, regression, API, and performance/load testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Use tools such as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for requirements traceability, test management, and defect lifecycle management.
- Analyze performance test results to identify throughput issues and system bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to ensure product quality and alignment with requirements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members.
Qualifications and Requirements:
" Extensive experience in QA with a focus on leading test strategy and execution.
" Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into test scenarios.
" Hands on experience with API testing tools.
" Proficiency with ALM/test management systems.
" Experience conducting and analyzing results from performance and load testing.
" Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages such as Selenium.
" Strong SQL skills, including writing queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
" Experience with Accessibility testing compliant with ADA
" Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
" Ability to work independently and drive quality initiatives across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
" Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
" Knowledge of cloud environments and testing in cloud based architectures.
" Prior experience mentoring or leading QA teams.
" Strong problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
" Experience working in enterprise environments with complex integrations.
