Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the daily maintenance and upkeep of a multifamily apartment community in Forrest City, Arkansas. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, and sheetrock repairs and be capable of completing maintenance requests efficiently while maintaining the property's overall condition.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform basic HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Complete plumbing repairs, including leaking faucets, clogged drains, toilets, and minor pipe repairs.
- Perform sheetrock repairs, including patching holes, sanding, texturing, and preparing surfaces for painting.
- Complete apartment make-readies and assist with unit turnovers as needed.
- Respond to resident work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Follow property safety procedures and communicate maintenance concerns to management.
Requirements
- Previous multifamily apartment maintenance experience required.
- Hands-on HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting experience required.
- Plumbing repair experience required.
- Sheetrock repair and finishing experience required.
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- EPA certification preferred.
