The Opportunity
We’re a young, fast-growing company looking for a go-getter sales professional who wants the opportunity to come in, perform, and absolutely kill it.
We believe great salespeople don’t need someone constantly looking over their shoulder. We’ll provide you with qualified leads, scheduled appointments, training, tools, and support—and then give you the freedom to perform.
You’ll have the autonomy to manage your sales process, follow up with your customers, close deals, and maximize your earning potential without being micromanaged.
This is also an opportunity to help build something. As we grow our sales department, you’ll have a real voice in how we improve our sales process, build the team, and shape the direction of the company.
We’re looking for someone who is hungry, competitive, self-motivated, and accountable. There is significant earning potential, but with that freedom comes responsibility. You’ll be expected to take ownership of your appointments, follow-ups, pipeline, and results.
If you want to be handed real opportunities, have the freedom to run with them, make serious money, help homeowners, and have an impact on a growing company, this is the type of role we’re building.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, professional In-Home Sales Representative who is passionate about helping homeowners with their foundation, seismic, and related repair needs.
The majority of appointments and leads are provided and scheduled by the company with homeowners who have contacted us about their properties.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with homeowners, inspecting foundations, designing repairs, and closing residential construction projects.
What You’ll Do
- Run 2–3 scheduled homeowner inspections per day
- Meet with homeowners at their properties and identify their needs and concerns
- Take photos, measurements, and document relevant conditions
- Evaluate visible foundation and structural concerns
- Clearly explain findings and recommended solutions to homeowners
- Present proposals, pricing, and available repair options
- Follow up with prospective customers and close sales
- Manage your own pipeline and take ownership of follow-up
- Maintain accurate notes and customer information
- Communicate with the office, inspection, and production teams as needed
- Proactively generate additional opportunities when possible, with a higher commission rate for self-generated business
Physical & Travel Requirements
This is an active field-sales position, not a desk job. Candidates must be comfortable:
- Crawling underneath homes and working in tight or confined crawlspaces
- Bending, kneeling, crawling, and navigating uneven areas
- Getting dirty during inspections
- Performing multiple inspections in a day
- Driving significant distances between appointments
- Working independently in the field
What We’re Looking For
- Strong in-home sales and closing ability
- Professional and confident communication with homeowners
- Comfortable discussing higher-ticket home improvement projects
- Hungry, competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Organized, dependable, and accountable
- Ability to build trust with homeowners without relying on high-pressure sales tactics
- Comfortable learning foundation systems, seismic retrofitting, and repair methods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable with a commission-based compensation structure
- Willingness to prospect and generate additional opportunities when needed, which comes with a higher commission rate
Experience in foundation repair, seismic retrofitting, construction, roofing, HVAC, windows, solar, plumbing, remodeling, pest/termite, or other in-home improvement sales is highly desirable, but not necessary.
Foundation experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right salesperson who has strong in-home sales experience and is comfortable performing crawlspace inspections.
We are also open to candidates who may not have extensive sales experience but have the drive, personality, work ethic, and desire to build a career in sales.
Compensation
Commission-Based
Your earning potential is directly tied to your sales performance. The company provides the majority of leads and scheduled homeowner appointments with homeowners who contact us, so this is not primarily a cold door-to-door sales position.
This position is best suited for someone who wants the unlimited earning potential of commission sales, appreciates having qualified opportunities provided, and is also willing to proactively generate additional business.
The opportunity is there. We provide the leads, support, training, and infrastructure—you are responsible for taking ownership of those opportunities and turning them into sales.
Service Area
Los Angeles and surrounding Southern California areas
Applicants should expect substantial daily driving and must be comfortable traveling between multiple scheduled homeowner appointments.
Apply
If you have a strong sales background or a desire to break into sales, enjoy working directly with homeowners, and are comfortable getting underneath homes to understand the problem before presenting a solution, we’d like to hear from you.
Please submit your resume along with a brief description of your in-home or home-improvement sales experience, or tell us why you believe you would be successful in this type of sales role.
