As a Security Officer - Part Time - Experience Required in Walton, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and visitor processing at the location.
Monitor entry and exit points for authorized access, verify identification and/or shipping documentation, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, truck areas, loading and unloading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and observe operational or security-related issues.
Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access records related to visitors, deliveries, trailers, and/or employee movement while supporting daily site operations and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
