Now Hiring: Maintenance Director

Full Time | $60,000-$90,000

Join the team at Champion City Nursing & Rehabilitation, a leading provider of healthcare services in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as we seek a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Director to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities.

As a key member of our operations team, the Maintenance Director will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities, coordinating maintenance activities, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents and staff. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive compensation package and a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance of all facility systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry
• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments, including housekeeping, dietary, and nursing
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner
• Manage and train a team of maintenance technicians and staff
• Collaborate with facility management to ensure compliance with safety protocols and establish emergency procedures
• Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify and address potential hazards and maintenance needs

Requirements:

• 1 minimum years of experience as a maintenance director or supervisor in a healthcare setting
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or certification in a related field preferred
