Job Description

Job Description Shape Complex Electrical Programs from Vision to Launch — Plano, TX

Picture your first week: you’re handed a portfolio of high-visibility electrical initiatives. You meet with design, operations, and safety leaders to clarify scope, align success metrics, and draft a delivery roadmap. By week two, timelines, risks, and resourcing are dialed in. From there, you orchestrate execution—keeping budget, schedule, and quality perfectly in sync.

What you’ll lead

  • Own end-to-end delivery of electrical engineering initiatives—from concept through closeout—on time and on budget.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment on scope, objectives, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Build detailed project plans with schedules, resource models, and risk/mitigation strategies.
  • Track progress, remove roadblocks, and recalibrate plans to keep delivery on course.
  • Report program status and milestone health to stakeholders with clear, actionable updates.
  • Uphold compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Coach junior project managers and team members to elevate execution discipline and results.
  • Continuously refine processes; champion project management best practices and lessons learned.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or related); Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years managing projects in the electrical engineering domain, including large-scale efforts.
  • Expertise in electrical systems, design fundamentals, and modern delivery methodologies.
  • Exceptional communicator and collaborator; effective with diverse technical and business partners.
  • PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • Fluent with project management platforms and toolsets.
  • Analytical, detail-focused problem solver with proven decision-making under pressure.
