Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator II to support infrastructure technology and security-related initiatives across multiple business environments. This individual will play a key role in coordinating assessment and remediation activities, tracking project progress, managing stakeholder communication, and ensuring accountability across complex cross-functional workstreams.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, brings structure to ambiguity, and is skilled at keeping initiatives moving forward by proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and gaps before they become roadblocks.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities across technical and business teams to ensure assessments, remediation efforts, and related initiatives remain on track.
- Maintain project plans, action trackers, remediation logs, schedules, and status reports.
- Track project activities, findings, risks, dependencies, decisions, and action items through completion.
- Ensure action owners are identified, deadlines are established, and follow-up occurs consistently.
- Coordinate discovery and information-gathering activities to support project objectives.
- Identify missing information, unresolved issues, project risks, and dependencies that could impact timelines or deliverables.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, working sessions, stakeholder discussions, and status reviews.
- Document decisions, action items, owners, and next steps with clear follow-through.
- Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to understand requirements and translate them into trackable project activities.
- Monitor progress across multiple workstreams and proactively escalate blockers, risks, or overdue actions.
- Prepare concise project status updates highlighting accomplishments, upcoming work, risks, decisions, and areas requiring leadership attention.
- Support the development of consistent project processes, documentation standards, and reporting practices.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience coordinating cross-functional projects, programs, or initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience maintaining project plans, schedules, RAID logs, action trackers, remediation logs, or similar project documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience facilitating meetings and translating discussions into actionable next steps.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to follow-through and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting cybersecurity, information security, infrastructure, risk, compliance, or remediation initiatives.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, business integrations, or transitional environments.
- Familiarity with security assessments, compliance programs, risk remediation, or technology discovery efforts.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale project environments involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
