Physical Demands:
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and moving through production areas.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Regular exposure to cold food manufacturing environments (approximately 36°F–40°F in refrigerated areas).
• PPE and GMP compliance required at all facilities.
• Moderate noise levels; hearing protection provided where required.

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator is a hands-on execution leader responsible for end-to-end CI project delivery from opportunity identification and financial validation through implementation and sustained, verified results.
This role operates primarily on the production floor, partnering with associates to drive and sustain operational improvements.
Project Execution (High Velocity)
- Opportunity Identification: Perform time studies and workflow analysis to identify inefficiencies and quantify savings.
- Financial Validation: Align with Finance and plant leadership on savings logic; establish baselines prior to launch.
- Execution & Implementation: Implement line balancing, staffing adjustments, standard work, and visual controls; monitor performance daily.
- Change Leadership: Align plant managers, supervisors, and operators to drive engagement and accountability.
- Sustainment & Verification: Validate results post-implementation and conduct 60–90 day audits; close projects only after confirmed financial validation.

Requirements
- 3–7 years of manufacturing operations or CI experience; led at least 2 measurable improvement projects
- Proven ability to lead and implement improvements on the production floor
- Track record of Finance-validated savings
- Ability to influence teams without direct authority
- Strong analytical skills; Excel proficiency required
Core Responsibilities
- Lead CI initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement
- Analyze and resolve operational issues using structured problem-solving
- Plan and execute Kaizen events and rapid improvement workshops (hours to 1–2 days)
- Partner with site leadership to execute improvement roadmaps
- Apply and coach Lean tools (Fishbone, 5 Whys, line balancing, takt time, standard work, root cause analysis)
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Food manufacturing or cold environment experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
- Familiarity with CI tracking tools (e.g., Monday.com)
