Job DescriptionOn-Site Property Manager (Temporary)

Portland, OR (Onsite)
$24-$26/hour
Full-Time | Temporary Assignment (Approx. 1-2 Months)

We're partnering with a well-established residential property management organization to find an experienced On-Site Property Manager for a temporary coverage assignment in Portland. This role is ideal for a property management professional who enjoys working independently, building strong resident relationships, and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary onsite contact for prospective and current residents
  • Conduct apartment tours and showcase community amenities
  • Respond to inquiries from phone, email, online leads, and walk-in traffic
  • Assist prospective residents through the application and screening process
  • Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including unit inspections and documentation
  • Support resident relations and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain property appearance standards and assist with daily property operations
  • Provide oversight and direction to onsite maintenance personnel as needed

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of property management experience
  • At least 1 year of leasing experience (2+ years preferred)
  • Fair Housing certification (proof required)
  • 2+ years of AppFolio experience preferred
  • Experience with Yardi, TenantTech, or similar property management software is also valued
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Prior staff leadership or supervisory experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk the property regularly, including climbing stairs
  • Conduct unit inspections and apartment tours throughout the day
  • Comfortable being active and mobile during shifts

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
