Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Consultant to provide hands-on security design, engineering, and oversight for a PeopleSoft environment hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The consultant will ensure that the cloud environment is hardened, compliant, continuously monitored, and aligned with enterprise cybersecurity standards. This role will collaborate closely with Application Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Network, Data Security, Database, and Cloud Engineering teams to design and implement a secure OCI landing zone and PeopleSoft deployment.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including:
  • IAM policies, compartments, and Security Zones
  • OCI Web Application Firewall (WAF)
  • Load Balancing
  • OCI Vault and Key Management
  • Network security architecture, including subnet design, firewalls, NAT gateways, and private endpoints
• Proven cloud security engineering experience. Experience with Azure or AWS is acceptable as a secondary cloud platform.
• Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools such as Oracle Cloud Guard, Prisma Cloud, Wiz, or similar platforms.
• Experience securing enterprise applications deployed in cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Application Security, DevSecOps practices, and API security.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft architecture and cloud deployments is preferred.
• Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and security event management, including SIEM platforms, cloud audit logs, security events, alerts, and infrastructure metrics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Architecture, DBA, Application Security, IAM, Network, and Cloud Engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing secure Oracle Cloud Infrastructure landing zones.
• Knowledge of enterprise cloud governance, security frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Experience implementing security controls for ERP and enterprise business applications.
• Relevant cloud security certifications are a plus.
