Our Client is seeking a skilled Application System Analyst II to serve as a key liaison between business users, operational leaders, IT teams, and vendors. This role focuses on designing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise applications while ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with organizational and healthcare operational needs.


Key Responsibilities

Application Support & Optimization

  • Analyze, design, build, test, and maintain applications and business processes to meet operational requirements
  • Provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Partner with Service Desk teams to resolve service requests and system issues
  • Ensure adherence to system configuration standards and change control processes

Business Analysis & Solution Delivery

  • Perform requirement gathering, process analysis, and gap analysis
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions
  • Develop process maps, workflows, and documentation for system improvements
  • Represent end-user needs in system enhancements and updates

Project Delivery & Collaboration

  • Support and lead medium to high complexity projects with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver cross-functional solutions
  • Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring quality outcomes
  • Provide status updates and reporting to stakeholders and leadership

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors
  • Build strong relationships with end users, leadership, and partners
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts and system changes to non-technical audiences
  • Address conflicts and ensure smooth collaboration across stakeholders

Training & Documentation

  • Create and maintain user documentation and training materials
  • Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Mentor and support junior team members

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve system usability, efficiency, and performance
  • Evaluate new releases and functionalities for continuous enhancement
  • Share industry best practices and vendor insights with stakeholders


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in application systems, IT, or healthcare technology environments
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis and system configuration
  • Experience working in team-based environments with cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to handle moderate complexity issues independently


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare systems or clinical environments
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise applications (e.g., Epic or similar platforms)
  • Relevant certifications in application systems or healthcare IT
