Boomerang Rubber, Inc. is expanding their Maintenance Team on 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift
We are seeking SKILLED Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and proven experience in industrial maintenance, ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and systems. This role requires proficiency in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various machines and electrical systems, including HVAC/R, hydraulics, and pneumatics. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for providing service while working collaboratively with other team members.
This position is for 3rd shift - Sunday through Thursday 10pm to 6:15am
3rd shift will receive an additional $2 per hour for shift differential on top of their base pay
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility.
- Conduct inspections and Troubleshoot issues to determine root causes and implement solutions to prevent downtime
- Repair or replace defective parts in machinery and equipment
- Keep accurate maintenance records using PM and Daily Timesheets
- Respond promptly to maintenance calls from various departments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, and boiler operations.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs.
- Operate scissor lifts safely to access equipment in elevated areas.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols while performing maintenance tasks
Experience
- Strong INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE skills (3+ years). Must be in Industrial Maintenance in a manufacturing setting to be considered.
- Knowledge in Electrical systems
- Knowledge and experience in welding and fabrication
- Knowledge and experience in hydraulic systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices.
- Experience working with hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Excellent analysis skills to identify problems quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency in English for clear communication within the team and with customers.
