Role Description The Security Guard is an on-site role based in Boulder, CO, responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at events and private properties. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring entrances and common areas, conducting security patrols, managing access control, and responding to security incidents or unusual activity. Security Guards will support event operations through crowd management, monitoring guest activity, enforcing event rules, and helping maintain an orderly environment. The role also involves communicating with event organizers, documenting incidents when necessary, and contacting emergency services or law enforcement when appropriate.

- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients, guests, and event attendees.
- Experience or interest in private security, event security, crowd management, access control, or related fields.

- Ability to follow established security procedures, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
- Strong awareness of surroundings and ability to identify and respond appropriately to potential safety concerns.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a security team and communicate with event staff and management.
- Basic incident reporting and documentation skills are preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain attentive for extended periods.
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, event staff, or customer service experience is beneficial.
- Security certifications or training are an advantage.
