Top-Tier Asset Management firm in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking an Enterprise Developer to support their Investment and Trading Technology space!

Responsibilities:

\n

\n

\n
• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications supporting critical business operations.

\n

• Build and support software solutions using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and modern web development frameworks.

\n

• Work across front-end and back-end technologies to deliver efficient, user-friendly applications.

\n

• Participate in technology modernization initiatives, including application upgrades, system conversions, and third-party platform integrations.

\n

• Support the integration of internal applications with external software platforms and data sources.

\n

• Develop automated workflows and tools that improve operational efficiency, reporting, and data management.

\n

• Contribute to cloud-based development projects, including the enhancement and migration of applications within Microsoft Azure.

\n

• Collaborate with business users, technology colleagues, and senior stakeholders to evaluate requirements and develop practical technical solutions.

\n

• Troubleshoot application issues, optimize system performance, and provide ongoing production support.

\n

• Follow established software engineering standards, including code reviews, testing, documentation, version control, and deployment procedures.

\n

• Utilize modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding technologies, to improve development efficiency and solution quality.

\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

\n

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience developing enterprise-level software applications.

\n

• Strong hands-on development experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.

\n

• Experience building web-based applications using modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, Blazor, or comparable frameworks.

\n

• Strong knowledge of SQL, database development, stored procedures, and application integration.

\n

• Experience developing APIs, connecting disparate systems, and supporting data-driven applications.

\n

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud environments.

\n

• Experience with source control, automated deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices.

\n

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

\n

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with both technical and nontechnical colleagues.

\n

• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to producing high-quality software solutions.

\n

• Previous software development experience within financial services, investment management, banking, or a related industry.

\n

• Exposure to enterprise financial applications, investment technology, or operational processing systems.

\n

• Experience integrating third-party platforms and supporting large-scale software implementations.

\n

• Knowledge of application modernization, service-oriented design, or microservices architecture.

\n

• Familiarity with business intelligence, reporting tools, and workflow automation technologies.

\n

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure DevOps, or comparable development and deployment tools.

\n

• Understanding of financial data, transaction processing, or enterprise accounting workflows.

\n

• Experience using AI-powered development tools to streamline coding, testing, and documentation.

\n

• Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
