Duration: 12+ Months

Pay rate: $90/hr. - $ 124/hr. on W2

Job Description:

Overview:

  • The Sr. Omnichannel Technical Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, technology-enabled initiatives that strengthen Client’s omnichannel capabilities.
  • This role translates business and customer experience needs into structured technical delivery plans and drives work from discovery through launch, rollout, adoption, and stabilization.
  • This role will manage strategic initiatives focused on customer identity, data connectivity, and omnichannel enablement, ensuring seamless integration of customer experiences across data, web, CRM, marketing technology, and customer engagement platforms.
  • The Sr. Technical Program Manager will connect the dots across Global Omnichannel, Data Management, Commercial Technology, Web Platforms, Customer Engagement Platforms, MarTech, analytics, and vendors to ensure scope, ownership, dependencies, risks, and decisions are clear.
  • The ideal candidate is not expected to be a hands-on engineer. However, they must be technically fluent enough to understand system interactions, integration dependencies, data flows, environments, testing needs, and release requirements, and to turn those details into an executable cross-functional plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Program Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex omnichannel technology initiatives from discovery and requirements through design, build, testing, deployment, rollout, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Own integrated project plans, milestones, workback schedules, decision logs, and cross-team dependencies across business, data, platform, and technology workstreams.
  • Break broad capability goals into clear phases, work packages, owners, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive pilot-to-scale planning, including MVP definition, market or audience sequencing, readiness criteria, change impacts, and lessons learned.

Cross-Platform Orchestration:

  • Coordinate work across Data Management, Web Platforms, Customer Engagement Platforms, MarTech (SFMC, Veeva CRM), analytics, privacy, security, and other delivery partners.
  • Maintain an end-to-end view of how data, identity, consent, content, channels, and platform capabilities must connect to enable customer journeys.
  • Facilitate working sessions that clarify system roles, data handoffs, upstream and downstream impacts, integration points, and ownership boundaries.
  • Ensure technical decisions and changes are translated into clear business implications, delivery impacts, and stakeholder actions.
  • Partner with Data Management and other technology teams to identify opportunities to replace manual handoffs and reporting with scalable, governed data automations.

Requirements, Agile Delivery, JIRA & Documentation:

  • Partner with Omnichannel leads and business stakeholders to translate engagement briefs and use cases into clear functional, data, and technical requirements.
  • Maintain JIRA and Confluence as reliable sources of truth for scope, status, requirements, technical artifacts, decisions, risks, dependencies, and launch readiness.
  • Coordinate epics, stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria across teams while avoiding duplicate or disconnected tracking.
  • Reinforce documentation standards and ensure key artifacts are complete, current, accessible, and usable by both business and technical partners.

Status, Risk & Executive Communication:

  • Coordinate defect triage, issue resolution, go/no-go decisions, cutover activities, hypercare, and transition to ongoing support.
  • Provide concise, proactive reporting on progress, decisions, risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and timeline impacts.
  • Synthesize detailed technical updates into clear, action-oriented communication for business partners and leadership.
  • Identify cross-project collisions and critical path risks early, propose mitigation options, and drive timely escalation and resolution.
  • Define and track delivery indicators such as milestone health, dependency closure, defect trends, readiness, and adoption.

Expected Partnerships & Interfaces:

  • Omnichannel Operations Leads Business use cases, customer journey requirements, rollout planning, and adoption
  • Data Management & Analytics Identity resolution, data sourcing, quality, integration, automation, and measurement dependencies
  • Web Platforms & Customer Engagement Platforms Platform requirements, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and operational support
  • Commercial Technology & MarTech Solution design, technical delivery, security, environments, releases, and enterprise standards
  • Privacy, Legal, Compliance & Information Security Early identification and completion of required reviews, controls, and approvals
  • Agencies & Implementation Partners Delivery alignment, technical execution, documentation, timelines, quality, and accountability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, information systems, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, product delivery, digital operations, marketing technology, data, or related fields.
  • Experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives that span multiple systems, teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, system integrations, data flows, identity and master data concepts, CRM, customer data platforms, marketing automation, web platforms, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience managing requirements, architecture and design dependencies, testing, releases, environment readiness, defect triage, and operational handoff.
  • Strong proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, project planning tools, agile delivery methods, and executive status reporting.
  • Proven ability to translate between technical and business audiences, ask the right questions, and drive clarity without needing to be the technical subject-matter expert.
  • Strong facilitation, organization, communication, judgment, and stakeholder-management skills in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another regulated industry preferred, including familiarity with privacy, consent, security, and promotional review considerations.
  • PMP, Scrum, or comparable delivery certification preferred.
