Job DescriptionPart-time Leasing Consultant - WeekendsReports to: Property Manager Location: Altamonte Springs, FLUnits: 325Salary: $18.00 per hour (Subject to adjustment for onsite living)Housing Benefit: 25% rent discount for onsite living Villa del Mar Apartments is looking for a competent Part-Time Leasing Consultant to undertake the leasing activities of our 140-unit residential apartment community. The successful candidate will effectively explore the market to identify opportunities and secure tenants. The shifts are:Saturdays 9:30am - 4pm (30 minute lunch break)Sundays 12pm - 4pm Benefits:Monthly bonus plan401(k) & 401(k) matching Responsibilities:Answer phones, greet potential prospects, show apartments, and maintain current traffic and telephone logsPresent apartments to prospective clients in a persuasive mannerAssist in discovering suitable tenantsProvide accurate information on the different features of propertiesValidate application information and referencesPrepare lease agreementsPresent leasing terms and close agreementsKeep abreast of the property market status Skills:Proven working experience as a leasing consultant or sales professionalGood knowledge of leasing rules and regulationsCompetency in MS Office and relevant databases and softwareWell-versed in marketing and sales techniquesCustomer-focused approachComply with all state and federal fair housing trainings #FLIND
